The following list is the Seven(7) POs for the Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) Programme that:
PO 1: Demonstrate an in-depth scholarship of their area of research
PO 2: Contribute to original research to broaden the boundary of knowledge through thesis or dissertation
PO 3: Make critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new ideas
PO 4: Plan and perform independent research undertakings professionally, ethically and responsibly and to lead/supervise research projects
PO 5: Report research findings to peers at levels suitable for international publications
PO 6: Recognise the needs for continuing professional development
PO 7: Adapt practical skills leading to innovative ideas in the relevant field
Programme Outcomes for Master of Science:
The following list is the Six(6) POs for the Master of Science Programme that:
PO 1: Demonstrate continuing and advanced knowledge and have the capabilities to further develop or use these in new situations or multi-disciplinary contexts.
PO 2: Analyse and evaluate problems in the discipline critically particularly in situations with limited information and to provide solutions through the application of appropriate tools and techniques.
PO 3: Appraise available information and research evidence and apply it in the engineering context.
PO 4: Plan and perform research undertakings professionally, ethically and responsibly.
PO 5: Report technical findings in both written and oral forms.
PO 6: Recognise the needs for continuing professional development.
