Master of Automotive Engineering (Dual-master)

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has taken a bold step of forging a collaboration with Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HsKA) to offer double degree Master of Automotive Engineering Program in Malaysia. HsKA is the largest university of applied sciences in the State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, offering both academic and professional higher education study programmes in engineering sciences, natural sciences, and business. HsKA has a wide range of courses on campus respected in the industry and academia and ranked among the top Universities of Applied Sciences or Fachhochschule in Germany with especially strong mechanical, electrical engineering, IT and Engineering with Business Studies programs. The university is also home to one of Germany's most successful research oriented International Master of Science degree program in Sensor Systems Technology accredited by German Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and awarded the Quality Seals of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Study Programmes in Germany and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It has an enrolment of more than 6,000 students and taught by more than 150 full-time faculty and 300 part-time faculty whilst supported by some 200 technical and administrative staff.

The classes are in English with doctorates from both UMP and HsKA and the students will have a uniqueness of exposure to German technology and experience in engineering and industrial practice. Upon completion the graduate will be awarded a masters degree in automotive engineering from UMP and another from HsKA. Hence, the graduates with sound technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, will be highly sought after by employers from multinational companies and have the option of working locally and abroad.
